The KA-BAR Beker BK7 combat utility knife.
In this video I go over the Specifications and why I like the knife.
Overview.
The K-Bar Becker BK-7 is not only a spectacular knife but a useful survival tool. With its sleek design and sturdy construction you are sure to get a clean cut with this knife and it will never let you down. And Years of use and abuse I can firmly say that I can rely on this blade however ruthless the situation may be. As for the uses of the knife, it can do just about anything including:
Food Prep
Wood Splitting
Carving
Butchering and skinning
Processing materials
and much, much more.
As for the specifications.
I have had this blade for a while now and I am still yet to get the slightest chip on the edge or any real show of wear and tear. Overall I believe in the construction on this blade.
high carbon steel, 1095 Cro-Van
Rockwell Hardness 56-58.
Made in the USA.
Full tang 7-inch blade.
It’s a unit of a blade
Overall this is a great knife to own for anyone who loves bushcraft, although its high price point it is really worth the investment. The only things I don't like about the knife are; the ugly nylon sheath it ships in, the black coating (which I removed as soon as I received my unit.) and the plastic scales. other than these minor flaws I cannot fault K-Bar for their product.
